Built on the breakthrough big-air platform introduced last year, the Machine V2 is even lighter and more advanced than its predecessor. A revamped leading edge material helps reduce weight and increase height and hangtime, while the responsive wingtip and efficient aspect ratio continue to take you even higher.

- NEW REDUCED WEIGHT DACRON - At Slingshot we are constantly testing and researching new materials. We have implemented a new Dacron in our leading edge and struts that is lighter and more rigid than our past Dacron frames.
- SUPERCHARGED KITE GEOMETRY - The Machine V2 features proprietary kite geometry brought forth by our legendary design team. This secret shape and profile have ushered in the potential for personal-record height and hang time.
- CLEAN CANOPY - We significantly reduced canopy paneling from previous kite models. This reduction decreases the kite's overall weight while also providing a more aerodynamic canopy profile.
- STREAMLINED PULLEY-LESS BRIDLE SYSTEM - By eliminating pulleys, riders will feel a more instant and direct input from the kite. We use ultra-thin and static bridle lines. Riders will feel less drag through the air due to this streamlined bridle system.
- ONE PUMP SPEED SYSTEM - The patented Slingshot invention has gotten an upgrade. We have increased our One Pump tube diameters for cleaner airflow and repositioned the tubes to be more streamlined and durable.
- HYBRID OPEN C CANOPY - Five struts give the canopy superior stability and rigidity needed for big-air boosting and extreme wind conditions. The hybrid geometry provides impressive wind range, instant water relaunch, and unlimited boosting potential.
- 4X4 CANOPY TECH - The Machine V2 is built with Teijin 4x4 reinforced ripstop nylon. This creates the strongest, stiffest, and most durable canopy available today. Your kite will last longer and feel more stable in the air, especially in gusty wind.
- MULTIPLE ATTACHMENT POINTS - Different attachment points integrated into the kite allow you to fine-tune handling, power, and performance based on your riding style and the conditions of a particular session.

Slingshot Machine V2 - At a Glance
The second-generation Machine has gone on a diet and reduced weight in the leading-edge by an upgraded Dacron. The response of the kite has been improved as well as its wind range. I can definitely feel an improvement at the low end of its wind range. The new machine seems to jump a touch better with more pop off the water while still maintaining the floaty hangtime the kite is known for. When it comes to twin-tip freeride sessions this is a favorite for me for boosting big airs and trying to learn new tricks while riding hooked in.
