Vapor Core Thruster Fins - At a Glance

These fins are the Ferrerias of surfing fins. The woven carbon exoskeleton looks incredible, and they feel so light in my hands compared to standard fins. They look good, how do they surf though? The beginner to early intermediate surfer won't be able to grab a set of these and right away improve your surfing. If you're in those beginning stages of surfing, keep putting your time in and then grab a set of Vapor Core fins. The accomplished surfer right away will feel a better energy transfer from feet to board. The turns will feel more engaged and pumping down the wave is going to be a bit faster. I feel like the Vapor Core fins still have enough flex to give that almost organic feel in the water. I would recommend these fins to the surfer looking to get just a touch more performance out of there surfboard.
