Lib Tech 2022 Lost Rocket Redux FC Surfboard
The Lib x Lost Rocket Redux version with our Futures™ Fins compatible fin box system.
Birthed from the brains of Beschen and Budroe, refined by Biolos and made famous in the 2009 video classic 5’5” Redux. The Rocket was a global hit from Bros to Pros. Now the Rocket returns with updated modern features, refined curves and rails but retains the original low fast entry rocker, hyper extended tail curve for instantaneous down the line drive and precise turning. The deepest of concaves sets up a fast straight center line and curvaceous rail rocker adding lift and liveliness. The wide tail and parallel outline provides plenty of speed and hold and the hooked diamond “rocket” tail adds bite and hold in rear footed carves.

Lib Tech X Lost Rocket Redux FC - At a Glance
I am so excited to see Lib Tech come out with boards that use Future fin boxes, I have always been a big fan of Futures. This board has been revamped from the original rocket to make it one the best hybrid surfboards on the market. You'll notice that the pulled in nose gives it that short board look which is going to keep the nose from catching in steeper waves. The tail has a diamond bat shape, which gives the board more rail line, so a back-footed surfer can rip deeper carves which will in turn generate speed. The board still retains its low entry rocker which helps when waves become a bit more gutless. I noticed that the deep concaves help add stability in high-speed runs when the waves are pumping. I personally like this board in waves more shoulder high that have some decent push behind them. Overall, I would recommend this board to an intermediate surfer who is progressing towards the level of having more than one surfboard in the quiver.
