Slingshot HG Quantum 100CM Carbon Wing - At a Glance

At the time of this review I am traveling cross country winging in multiple locations. The Quantum has surprised me on how well it performs in a variety of conditions. In Utah, I took the Quantum out in super light winds (8-12knots) and the front wing had plenty of lift and decent speed. Recently I took it out on reservoir in Colorado in nuking conditions and the wing didn't have excessive lift at all. This wing has a surface area around 1700cm2 so it fits perfect between a light wind and stronger wind front wing. I haven't come across much wind swell on this trip but I did test the stall speed and this wing cruises for quite a while on foil and drops at slow progressive rate. The Quantum carves like a 9' longboard, kind of cruisy but still able to jam the wing into some fun turns. For the price point in comparison to more exotic wings this Quantum is outstanding and I highly recommend it to anyone getting into wing foiling.
