This is the perfect board for someone who is learning how to surf or someone who loves surfing smaller waves and having fun. Foam boards are great for beginners because when you fall on to the board while learning to pop up it won't hurt. The 9' Log foam board has so much volume, which makes it great for larger adults who want to have a successful start to surfing. Even though I am accomplished surfer I still use my Log for novelty sessions where I need the board to be durable. If you are looking for a quality entry level surfboard that you can progress with, get the Log you won't regret it.
