If I am going out in waves larger than my armpit, this is going to be my board of choice hands down. It is fast, responsive, and you can drive it through anything like its a hummer. This board impressed me the most because I perfected my jibes with its smooth turning characteristics, and learned about toe side riding in waves. It took me to the next level in the surf and gave me a grin I still haven't wipe away from my face.
This is Slingshot's signature board, complete with carbon rails and bamboo top and bottom sheets. If you try this board and don't like it, something is wrong with you. It is that good. My favorite directional kiteboard in the world, and my best friend in the waves.

Breaking bounderies, the NEW 2011 Slingshot Tyrant 6’1" meets the needs of expert kitesurfers. The 6’1" Tyrant is a tri fin, true to the bone short board that does it all wthout the parabolic carbon rails as in its sibling the Tyrant 6’2". The 6’1" has a deeper single concave under foot with double between the fins. It also has a more "pulled in" tail than the 6’2" making it sharp and explosive.
